Injured AEW Star’s Long-Awaited Return Imminent In Mega Update
An important update was unveiled about the long-awaited return of this injured AEW star.
Will Ospreay‘s last appearance on AEW television was at the Lights Out steel cage match, where he, Darby Allin, Hiroshi Tanahashi, and The Golden Lovers (Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi) bested The Death Riders (Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli), The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson), and Gabe Kidd.
After the match, Moxley and Castagnoli assaulted Ospreay by breaking his neck. This was done to write the Aerial Assassin off to undergo a herniated disc surgery on his C2 and C6 spine.
The timeframe for his return has yet to be determined or confirmed. However, a new update could just bring light to the uncertainty.
Will Ospreay Was Recently Spotted At AEW Holiday Bash
AEW recently aired the three-hour Holiday Bash specials of Dynamite and Collision on December 17. It took place at the Co-Op Live in Manchester, England.
A couple of stipulation-based matches were slated for the shows’ main event, like the Dynamite Dozen Battle Royale for the Dynamite Diamond Ring, an AEW World Tag Team Championship match between FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) and Bang Bang Gang (Austin Gunn and Juice Robinson) and a Continental Classic Gold League bout between Kevin Knight and current champion, Kazuchika Okada.
According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, Will Ospreay, who is from London, England, was backstage at the show.
